We were staying in a nearby hotel and I'd asked google for breakfast near me. I'm giving two stars because the waitress was friendly and nice. When we were seated, the hostess only gave us one menu to share. We both ordered eggs benedict. After forty minutes, witnessing confrontation and confusion over the tab from another table, and really needing to get our day started, we went up to the front and asked to just pay for our coffee. The hostess disappeared into the back, and we just left.
MoreIf you are hungry. . Go here now. The foods delicious, prices are great, too! The onion rings here are the best I've had in decades. Done just right! they have military and senior discounts, breakfast served all day and nice servers.
MoreThe biscuits and gravy were amazing however they overcooked the hash browns. They also didn't cook my son's pancakes fully. They were quick to fix that though. It's a pretty decent restaurant.
MoreFood was ok. Decent price. Friendly professional staff. Service was slow.
Food was overpriced and sub par. Good service though.
The look of the inside is not going to wow you. Just based on the menu, it appears to be catering to an older population (they have a whole section of the menu for seniors). Generous portions of food for a reasonable price. I wouldn't say the quality is super, but it is good...average restaurant and average food.
MoreHidden gem! Good food, good staff, and good prices! I go there often and always leave very satisfied! Thank you Jack and Wanda and staff for an enjoyable experience!
MoreA little bit of a wait (maybe 10 mins?), but worth it. Really great turkey melt!
Love eating here. The food is consistently good and everyone is very nice.
Service was terrible. Waitresses were running around looking lost and overwhelmed. After waiting for an hour we got a refill on drinks and the waitress talked to us about why the wait was so long, they were extremely busy. So much so they ran out of cups and had to switch to to-go cups and turn people away. While it was busy, I dont think it was because of the amount of business. It seemed more to be on waiting for the kitchen to prepare the food. Speaking of the food, it wasn't fresh at all. Everything that could be frozen and reheated was.
MoreOk quality of food not the best but great service
Maybe it was just today, but it took over an hour to get our food (a sandwich and a plate of hash browns and eggs). Although the food was good and hot, I could have ordered breakfast and lunch at the same setting. I wouldn't consider using the bathroom there either.
MoreBoth stars are credited to the food and the waitress that helped us when ours was nowhere to be found. I have had her once before and thought perhaps the service was so poor because the restaurant was busier. After sitting in a nearly empty restaurant and seeing her only three times in an hour, I will be sure to request anyone else. She took our order and delivered the checks. Never refilled drinks, didn’t even bring the food, and was absently walking around, standing at the front, or even walking outside to talk to someone in a car. The ticket said Casey, and she has tattoos. Do not sit in her section if you want to see your server at all. Very very displeased. Love the diner though.
MoreLove the place great food great atmosphere nice employes great owners all around great place my wife works there and loves it
MoreSaturday during football season, you own the place. Lol decent meal. Great service, our waitress was awesome!
MoreNot even sure who our sever was 3 different people came by and the hasbrowns were barely cooked.. the hollandaise sauce was so broke and lumpy it was bad.. the massive slice of tomato they put on the eggs Benedict saturated the muffin making everything soggy and the spinach was just about raw and bitter.. my premade sausage was good.. scrambled eggs were good.. bacon was bacon.. but overall big waste of money.. Will not return bleh...
MoreThe food was good, just lack customers
Food was decent. Unlike the website there was no seniors selections so that was disappointing. Overall not a bad experience.
MoreI'm giving it 2 stars because the place was clean and the staff was very friendly no issues what so ever there, however I honestly wish I would have eaten at waffle house! I ordered the same meal as I would from waffle house just across the street it was double the price and it was not very good. The hashbrowns werent cooked all the way it was a giant pile that was charred on the outside and I am not sure what substitutions they use as "butter"on the toast but this I can assure you it was neither butter nor margarine. I was charged 3 dollars for 3 pieces of bacon that were not even full length pieces. We had a party of 3 adults and all 3 of us were extremely disappointed with our meal quality. Overall I feel like the place has potential but the menu and the meal preparation need serious improvement!!
MoreI stopped in here for a fast bite to eat while shopping and it filled the bill. It's a Waffle House menu and it even includes Over-55 Senior selections. I ordered a Greek omelet which was marred by the fact that just like Waffle House, they add vanilla-flavored pancake batter to the omelets. (Hmmm. Why??) The decor is unspectacular, but the food and service are what you would expect- simple, quick, good diner food at a reasonable price. Family-friendly!
MoreThe portions were generous, seasoned well, the staff was friendly, added things to my order, and they didn't get it wrong. The owner Mrs. Wanda was made us feel so welcome! Will be back!
MoreWorst place in Daphne. Food was NOT edible at all. My husband's food tasted like dog food and the mashed potatoes were instant. And....it took over an hour to get our food. Very disappointed!
MoreFood was excellent. First time visiting this restaurant... Service wasn't great... Server may have been new... You could tell she didn't have alot of experience... The food definitely made up for it. I usually don't care for fried pickles spears (I like fried pickle chips), but was pleasantly surprised ! The breading had the perfect amount of seasoning, and was crispy and not overdone. Will definitely give it another try!
MoreRecently if you guys have been following my reviews you know how I roll I had to bring the whole Posse up to Jubilee Diner today. After appetizers of fried mushrooms and a salad we dug into some of the best home cooking you could imagine.I had country fried steak mashed potatoes green beans and you know the best country fried steak only needs a fork to dig in and cut it up.Be sure to stop by and check this restaurant out you'd be mad if you didn't. I lovingly give a full five stars to this restaurant.
MoreNice place great customer service good food pork chops and fried okra cooked perfect I look forward to treating myself at that restaurant again
MoreNot worth the stop. I’m giving 2 stars because the staff was nice and it was clean. Ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger for 9.99 not worth the cost. I asked for no l,t,o,p and they served it with onion and pickles. Husband ordered the same thing but with bacon and tomato it came with neither. They took it back and brought it out a few minutes later looking like all they did was knock off the onions and put the pickles in a bowl. Had to ask for the bacon again. Burger tastes like a frozen bubba burger, it was bitter not sure if that had to do with the canned mushrooms and the fries were sad. The tea was bitter tasting as well. Two mushroom Swiss burger w/fries and two teas Total bill $27.77. I want my money back!
MoreI didn't get a chance to try the food. Really wanted to. It never showed up and we finally gave up. Every thing seemed extremely disorganized and chaotic. Our waitress was nice so 2 instead of 1 star.
MoreNot crowded. Service good, friendly, (breakfast) food was great as well. Enjoyed our visit. Will be back.
MoreGreat service. Good comfort food. Try the cheese curds.
Wonderful senior spinach omelet & very attentive waitress who keeps the coffee coming.
MoreA real find, I always order the Hash and Eggs! (Hint, it's not on the menu) ...Sorry I like catsup...
MoreWaitress was Nice Food horrible and the Cook was horrific Screaming GD across the restaurant and the restaurant was very nasty and not kept up
MoreNew owners operated GREAT! Much better now than previous! Sorry no photos. VERY cozy atmosphere and VERY nice staff and owners!
MoreGood food for a decent price.Wrote that awhile back, just visited and not sure why but sat for an hour and never got our food. For the amount of staff and customers there was no excuse. Taking them down to three stars. Was going to be a 2 but they did give my son a free pancake and grits as we waitied.
MoreThe food was really good and the service was excellent ask for Allison she's the best...
MoreIf you're traveling through and stuck in bay traffic, this is a great place to stop to get a quality meal for reasonable prices. I had the Greek Omelette this morning and it was so good!
MoreIt was really bad, I paid way too much for a substandard burger. It was dry, grainy (bubba burger? ) tasted of freezer burn and over cooked. It was paired with dry, hard, rock like onion rings and a wilted salad with giant slices of dried out and pungent red onion. The service was slow and not attentive. I've had better quality for much less money. This was the second try I was giving this place, I can't say I'm going to give it another chance. There were too many corners cut to even consider this dollar menu worthy fare. Everything was either dry or it was wilted, but none of it was good.
MoreThey have burgers, hamburger steak, country fried steak, pot roast, grilled chicken. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day. We were looking for something other than fast food and this was a good choice. When we first arrived on a Sunday evening around 6:30, we were the only ones there but others came in too. I wasn't too busy. The food was good although the hamburger steak seemed like it was a frozen patty rather than fresh hamburger meat. Everything else was good. The prices were around $10 a plate for a dinner and came with 2 sides and soup or salad. Burgers were around $8 with fries.
MoreFood 4/5Price 3/5Atmosphere 4/5Service 5/5# of visits - 1This place is a great little diner. Food was delicious. Cheaper than any chain and filling. But nothing left over to take home for later. Our server was exceptional. I would give 5star if the price of every item was dropped just $1. $5 for a child's pancake with 1 strip bacon is a bit much. Also $9 for a chicken sandwich and 5 onion rings, again would be perfect at $1 less. Great place to eat, would return. Place is roomy but could use a little cleaning. Window sills are very dirty and have some dead flys.
MoreGood service and food. Better breakfast than you will find in a chain restaurant. Prices are fair and the portions generous. Would eat here again next time in the area.
MoreI just swung by for a quick cup O coffee and ended up with an Awesome BLT and a Pleasant experience. Thx Niki.
MoreOmg... The bacon 🥓🥓🥓was absolutely horrible!!!! My wife couldn't even eat it. It tasted like it was last week's bacon. Employees were nice is about the only thing good here.
More**OUT OF BUSINESS** New owners since a couple months ago, menu have some changes, but the food concept (original owners owned an IHOP in the midwest) still pretty much the same, breakfast all day, I like the grilled pork chops and eggs, different eggs omelets, pancakes, Philly stake (lots of people favorite), family teenagers members like the fish and chicken sandwich with both fries and onion rings (had to send rings back a couple times because were soggy). I wish they had all you can eat food items, but unfortunately and according to new oeners that's not in their plans at all.
MoreThe Meat lovers omelet is awesome!!! Service was good even being short staffed today. Thank you for good food and good service. I will be back soon for sure.
MoreWent there for an event, good food
Good, standard diner fare. Neither fancy nor overly costly, just a simple place to grab a simple meal. If you're familiar with the Summerdale Diner in Summerdale or the Gulf Shores Diner in Gulf Shores you'll feel right at home here. The menus and prices are more less the same. I was impressed with the flavor of a grilled tilapia filet I had here the other day, although the portion size with a bit on the small end. Good green beans and home-style mashed potatoes and gravy were good additions. Soups are delicious here, maybe the best thing they offer in my opinion. Breakfast is available all day, which is a nice alternative to IHOP or the Awful House. Based on meals I've had at the other locations, I'd say the burgers and country fried steak are the best non-breakfast items here.
MoreAmazing food can't beat the prices and the staff is fast efficient ordered and little wait time, pleasant place for eating great food!!
